In short
Second Chance Opportunities, LLC is a small software company in Boston, Georgia. It builds and operates systems in which being approximately right is not good enough — a trading engine that places real orders, a pipeline that has to reconcile, a site a business is judged by.
The company has two halves. One is a systematic trading platform it designed, runs and monitors itself. The other is delivery work — web, data and bookkeeping systems built for other businesses. The two share an engineering standard rather than a market.
How engagements work
Much of the delivery work reaches its end client through a partner firm that holds the client relationship. The partner handles scope, quoting, billing and account management. Second Chance builds the system and stays responsible for operating it.
That division is deliberate and it is stated plainly here because it affects who a client should call. Questions about scope, schedule and invoices belong with the partner who sold the work. Questions about how something is built, hosted or recovered belong here.
I also take work directly, and most of it now arrives that way. What a given piece of work involves is better settled in a conversation than inferred from a tier list, which is why there are no prices here.
Platform
Second Chance Opportunities, LLC operates a self-service algorithmic trading platform for systematic momentum strategies. The platform scores equities daily using technical and fundamental indicators, generates model-driven portfolio allocations, and submits orders programmatically through brokerage APIs on behalf of registered accounts.
